Singapore, March 2015

Jim and Randy celebrate the 2015 Chinese New Year with the Greathall Team members (aka Seeds of Knowledge) at a most wonderful Peranakan restaurant.

"Yu" Sheng (Yu=Fish and Abundance; Sheng=Prosperity) OR otherwise known as "Prosperity Salad" is a wonderful interactive salad to celebrate the new year. Each of the ingredients is added to the bowl one at a time by the diners with wishes for the new year. This was a most delicious beginning to our meal.

Another sumptuous dish at our multi-course dinner was "Kueh Pie Tee." These are lovely crispy pastry cups that the diner fills with delicious fillings.

The wish for prosperity fills the sky over Chinatown with "coins" making for a very festive and beautiful holiday.

Jim was invited to present at The Arts House. This beautiful building was Singapore's original House of Parliament. In 2004 it was converted into an arts and heritage venue. The audience sat in these seats that have placards naming the ministers who once occupied them while serving their country. One especially notable seat was that of Singapore's first Prime Minister and National Hero, Lee Kuan Yew.

Look who is performing at The Arts House!

The current Parliament Building is in close proximity to former Parliament Building, now called The Arts House.

In March, 2015 Jim had an engaging live television interview on "First Look Asia" a program on Channel News Asia. Here we see the anchors laughing as Jim tells a bit of "The Tortoise and the Hare." (Please see "Jim's Video Library" to view the actual interview)

Jim performs for an audience of 1600 students who were a most terrific audience.

Autographing for Jim is always a wonderful way to meet his fans and every now and then hear a secret!

Stories, stories and more stories for this group of young school children!

Another view of beautiful Singapore

Sentosa is located south of the main island of Singapore. It was once a small fishing village but is now a phenomenal island resort that is bustling with entertainment, recreational facilities, beaches, a wax museum, monorail, sky ride, a world-class aquarium, and of course, restaurants galore!

This giant fellow is a Merlion, a mythical creature with the head of a lion and the body of a fish. This particular Merlion guards and protects Sentosa.

This Malaysian Food Street is located in Sentosa. This is a great example of the famous Singaporean "Hawkers." One can secure a table and then shop meal courses from countless hawker shops. The delicious aromas and delicacies from each stand cannot be aptly described in words.

Now this is a menu! This was posted outside a restaurant. Singaporeans know how to eat and eat well.

A view of Sentosa that shows the famous Merlion centrally located between two hotels.

The Sentosa aquarium is one of the largest in the world. Here is a young visitor in awe of the wondrous activity just behind the window.

Jim and Randy pose with the delightful and talented members of the Singapore Greathall team (aka Seeds of Knowledge) who manage all Jim Weiss sales, performances and events in Asia. This photo was taken at the end of the 2.5 week 2015 Singapore Tour with hopes for 2016.
